So let's get started!!
A day in the life of Michele Richard
So I was asked: what’s my typical day?
Tie on the track shoes people because this is my usual schedule during the school calendar
7:00 Wake the kids and chase them around until it’s time to leave.
7:30 Shoo off the oldest.
8:30 Drop off the youngest to school.
9:00 Dunkin Donuts stop for the mandatory iced tea and hit the supermarket.
9:15 fill washer and dishwasher.
9:30 Marketing begins with visits to all our sites and media outlets. There are a lot of them.
12:00 Eat while sneaking in a few hours of writing.
3:00 Pick up the youngest from school.
3:30 Fight over homework.
5:00 Cook, eat, and clean up dinner.
6:30 Argue over who showers first and cleans, the pet rabbit, Geneva’s cage.
8:00 Finally: call it quits and usher the kids off to bed.
8:30 Start writing hard core until bedtime.
2-3 am Bedtime.
If you don’t think that’s enough in there I need to do Skype meetings, interviews, blog posts, book covers to approve and book trailers to make, review publishing house submissions, and still find time to kiss my husband after he works all day.
Am I complaining? NEVER! I love what I do, and the people I work with. It’s fulfilling and fun and if you’re writer: you know how your heart swells when a new book is released. For those non-writers: think of our books as our babies. We carry them around for months, deliver them, and help them grow wings when they’re ready.
Does it overwhelm me at times? Of course it does. But, I don’t let that hold me back. I just keep crossing things off my to do list until it doesn’t look crazy. Would I do it again if I knew what was involved? Absolutely.
Thanks for letting stop by and visit! Kim as always it’s a pleasure to be on your blog!

For Alexia Cross and Justin McNear, things are not what they seem. Both were born and raised in hidden, gated communities. A place where time virtually stands still and marriages are arranged by parents before a child’s 18th birthday.
Alexia is destined to be her community’s first spinster as her 18th birthday approaches. In a last ditch effort, a husband is found. The only complication? He has no idea he has been betrothed. Will his history of dating outsiders help or hinder his relationship with his future wife?
Justin McNear searched outside his church for the woman of his dreams. Returning home after failing, he knows he needs to rectify his life and his faith. Can a woman he’s never met make him whole again?
