Recommend one horror novel for non-horror readers. (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

Well this one is going to be a double answer, Sorry I know it say's one but for first timers and younger readers any of the Goosbumps books, my son loves these still today and is now reading the ones he has had since he started reading with his own kids. I love it.

But for the older any thing Stephen King. He has a writing style that I can sink                                  my teeth in and devour.

So what about you, Which book or author do you recommend? Please share, and as always have a great Friday.

You are suddenly transported into a future time in which (horrors!) books are unknown. How would you explain books, and how wonderful they are, to the people of that time? (submitted by Maria @ A Night's Dream of Books)

Oh No Way!! First of all I would hope that I personally was able to at least have one book on me at the time of being transported. But if not I would find some paper and start writing down some of my own memories of books I had read and share (read them) to everyone I could.

So, What about you? How would you explain books to people who do not know what they are?   Please Share. And as always, have a great Friday.

It's getting close to Halloween. If you HAD to read one of these two genres, which would you prefer -- urban fantasy, or horror, and why? (submitted by Maria @ A Night's Dream of Books)

Ah this is the time of year that I do tend to like more scarier genres. I love to read urban fantasy as well but give me a good haunted mystery and the more intriguing the better.
So, What about you? Which genres would you prefer?  If so, Please Share.
And as always, have a great Friday.
