Synopsis:
Eventide is the riveting conclusion to The Days of Redemption trilogy by Shelley Shepard Gray, celebrated author of tender Christian romance novels set in Amish country.
Honest and faithful Elsie Keim falls for her new neighbor, Landon, but she can’t bear to tell him the truth: She’s going blind.
Landon is enamored with Elsie. When Elsie’s brother Roman steps in and shares the truth of Elsie’s disease, Landon is floored. His job is demanding and takes him away from home, sometimes for days at a time. He wonders how he’d be able to keep up with his responsibilities and take care of Elsie.
In Eventide, three generations of the Keim family come together to make their dreams come true.
Shelley Shepard Gray, bestselling author of the Sisters of the Heart books, draws her Days of Redemption trilogy to a heart-warming finish.
My Review:
A few weeks ago I was sent an email concerning reading and reviewing this book. Oh My, was I excited about being among the firsts to read this book. I will be honest, this is only my second book of this author that I have read. I did not read the first two in this series. The other book was a Christmas book called "A Christmas for Katie" Which I loved.
When Eventide came in the mail I was so thrilled that I started reading right away! I was not disappointed at all. Even though I have not read the first two in this series, The Days of Redemption, Eventide can stand on its own. I enjoyed reading every part.
Author Shelley Shepard Gray is on my top top fav.'s! Her style of writing is amazing. It brings you in to the families life's and right into their living room, sets you down and before you know it you are hooked. You feel as if you are living right there.
I love the characters that are so true to life as author Gray describes and writes about. Number one as most of you all know I ABSOLUTELY LOVE READING AMISH BOOKS!!
Eventide is on top of my heap now and I will be making sure that the first two are put on there soon.
This is a new book on the block so to speak.... And I am loving the fact that I can be among the firsts along with some awesome others to bring the news out to you all.
As my previous post: Shelley Shepard Gray's Book Giveaway! Please make sure to sign up for this amazing giveaway for a chance to win the set of this Amish Series including Eventide.
So I don't, absolutely don't want to give any thing away from the book.. Let me say that it is A MUST 2013 READ and A MUST to HAVE ON YOUR SHELF!!
And there you have it for my thoughts on this book and author.
And for those reasons, I am giving this book and author my Breath of Life Rating:
FIVE CLOCK RATING!!

In the book of Ray of Light, which was magificent as was the book of Daybreak. In chapter 23, first page, Viola was in Belize, but as it was worded, it had her coming out of Roman's room.Found several other small mistakes written also later on, but, overall the books were fantastic. I have just begun reading your books and love them. Keep up the great work.
