Synopsis:  On the outskirts of Willow, in the shadow of a frostbitten hillside, a pair of oak doors stand against the February cold. Doors that hide an ancient secret. A secret as old and decayed as the earth itself. And through the hollows, the lingering echo of children’s laughter rises and falls in cryptic rhythm.
In the wake of a grisly string of deaths, a handful of souls become entangled in a paranormal tale of lost hope, serial murder, and revenge. In their search for absolution, they find the line between the natural world, and the spiritually sinister, is easily blurred and often crossed.

My Review:
First off I am going to ask: WHERE IS THE NEXT BOOK?  I was on the edge wanting more. But I have to say that I did or do have some concerns with this book. I am a minister and I guess I expected to see more explanation or answers to some things that come up with in the book. The other was a lot of characters to keep up with, but that also makes it interesting.

I was very on edge through out reading this scary book. For a girl who was raised with brothers who loved to scare me, this book was hard to read at some points. Yikes, but loved it because of that. I am not going to try to describe the characters as there are so many that I would pick. Lets just say Oh My, Yikes! to some and then Oh wow to others.

Author Lance LaCoax is a very talented writer as far as I am concerned and this book proves it with all the intricacy and details with in the book.

I was offered this book to read and review and I am glad I did. Other than the two points above, and looking for the next book to give me some reassurance that author Lance LaCoax can keep up the thrill and still answer those remains to be seen.

So due to the above I am giving this book a Breath of Life Rating of:

    Four Clock Rating!!!

Disclosure: I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review. The opinions are mine. And your opinion may differ.

About the Author:

My name is Lance. I live in Middle TN with Jennifer, my lovely wife of 21 years, and our 4 teenage kids (which means no food in the house, ever).
I'm the author of Cellar Doors, a new Paranormal Thriller published by Morehouse Media and available through Amazon. When not writing about betrayal and serial murder, I like taking long walks on the beach (because it's much easier to hide bodies in the sand). Sorry! Kidding. (sort of)
Growing up, I was an avid reader and generally had three or four novels going at once (Stephen Lawhead, Terry Brooks, Preston&Child). Now, I barely get three paragraphs read before falling asleep (side-effect of old age, you ask? No. Side-effect of having 4 teenagers, I think...).
