TEASER TUESDAY

Tuesday, July 10, 2012

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teas.

With no contact from the outside world, there was no way of knowing what had happened and who was responsible for this world.

OOO I do like this one.

OK

There aren't many dance clubs in our little jewel of a city on the Willamette River, so when I say I ended up at the largest of them, don't be too impressed.

Tailor made by James Brock 10% through the kindle edition.

If you remember, there was conjecture over the death of a head of the KGB a good many years back, just when Paulo was establishing himself. A heart attack, they reported.

I really love this idea, Kim :)

I am reading a nonfiction book called the Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan.

- So even if we wanted to go back to hunting and gathering wild species, it's not an option: There are far too many of us and not nearly enough of them.

- Disgust turns out to be another valuable tool for negotiating the omnivore's dilemma.

I stand in the doorway unable to mask my shock. I expected a younger version of Bunny: a blonde, elegantly dressed and coiffed young woman.

Wife 22 by Melanie Gideon, it's very good so far!
