Leaving the military portion of his life behind, Collin Porter is struggling to adjust to life as a civilian. While focused on opening a bar of his own, falling in love was the farthest thing from Collin’s mind. Yet the second he saw Rachel, he was a goner. That made it all the more painful when she smiled and strode right into the arms of his best friend.

Just as her circumstances change and hope builds that the two may have a chance together, a face from Collin’s past reappears with a shocking revelation that will turn his world upside down. The Marine way is to make things work, even as circumstances change. Now, more than ever, Collin has something of his own to fight for.

First to Fight is the first novel of Justice's newest series. If you're searching for military romance packed with twists, turns, and heartwarming moments, look no further!

About the Author

Alicia Justice writes romance, mostly military contemporary romance. Her novels often stem from her own experiences with friends and family that have been in the military themselves, giving her a plethora of information to use. She also uses her own life experiences for creating characters that you want to root for, even when you're not sure they're going to make it out of the situation they're in.

Her first novel First to Fight, which is the series title as well will be released in 2022. She loves connecting with her readers and getting to know them. She's been around the publishing industry for years, mainly through the blog she ran called Ali's Bookshelf. Now she's using that knowledge to write her own books.

Book Blogger Hop is another post I'm going to be trying out and this one has a topic each week, which is something I've been trying to bring to the blog. I'm really excited about this one because I have a hard time coming up with something fresh to talk about and I am hoping this helps.

If you would be interested in doing your own post, please CLICK HERE to learn more about this great hop!

This Weeks Topic:

Would you or do you choose a book solely on the cover? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

Yes, I have chosen books solely on the cover and nothing more. And then there were times when I have picked up a book because of the cover but didn't actually make a decision till after reading the synopsis.

So, What about you? Would you or do you choose a book solely on the cover?  Please Share.
And as always, have a great Friday.

Breath of Life Bible Journaling

Sunday, June 2, 2019

Here at Breath of Life I am now starting to share my love of  Bible Journaling.  The Breath of Life Bible Journaling will be posts where I share with you at least one or two of my pages from My Creative Bible that my daughter gave me for Christmas two years ago. I will also be sharing the Scriptures that coincides with them as well as possible chatting a little on my personal views concerning the passage.

John 1: 1 - 5

In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

My rule that I try to go by is I read at the least 5 to 6 chapters. If I am really having a hard time getting to that point then I either dnf it or lay it aside and possible try to pick it up at a later date. If it is for a review a will let the author or tour guide.
