This is going to be a post with possible two to four short reviews on smaller books that either have the same kind of topics or genres. I will be giving each book their own review as well as rating!

So here we go with my Mini Reviews Post!
Both of these books are Children's Books.

In this tender account based on her childhood experiences, beloved author Tara McClary Reeves shares how her family adapted to the extensive physical losses her father, Marine Corps Lieutenant Clebe McClary, sustained. With warmth and humor, this book encourages children and spouses facing similar trials to cherish the gift of family. To hold on to faith. And to choose to be loving heroes on the home front. Is Your Dad a Pirate? will challenge your perspective and deepen your commitment to love.

My Review:

Oh My, Oh My!!!  First let me say that Author Tara McClary Reeves in my opinion is one outstanding author.

This is an amazing story of a little girl and her feelings about her dad. And the perspective of this book is one that not only helps her but others around her. The synopsis gives a great description, so I am not going to give one of my own. Instead, I am going to recommend it to all the military families, as well as to all the schools. It might seem a little off to mention it for schools, but think of how many of our kids have parents or other family members that serve? And teachers some times have to care for them. They sometimes see more than the family might see due to them not realizing how to talk or show their feelings so it can show in their behavior. This story gives us some ideas not only for the little girl and her father, but also for her mom, and how things affected her as well.

So for the reasons above I will be giving this book a Breath of Life rating of:

 Five Clock Rating!!!!

Disclosure: I did receive the above book in exchange for my honest opinion and or
review. But the Opinions are my own and yours may differ.

And here is my next mini review:

Every reading concludes with a question for reflection and discussion.

Psalm 127:3 declares that children are a reward from the Lord. Steward these treasures from heaven as you grow together in God’s Word and in passionate, obedient love for Jesus

My Review:

First, most of you know I LOVE DEVOTIONALS! So let me say that when I get a new devotional I usually start it on what ever day it is when I get it, or end my last one. But with this one I started in the beginning and I Loved it. I didn't just stop with that day, but kept going on to the next and next, and I finished it in two days.

Not going to go into a big post I just want to say that this one is geared to be read with parents and their children. The titles are not all cutesy, or whimsical either. Like this one, "Life Is Not a Picnic" or "Guard Against False Advertisement".  I absolutely enjoyed each day.

So for the reasons above I will be giving this book a Breath of Life rating of:

 Five Clock Rating!!!!

Disclosure: I did receive the above book in exchange for my honest opinion and or
review. But the Opinions are my own and yours may differ.
