On My Wishlist is a Meme created by Book Chick City.

On My Wishlist is a weekly meme that allows us to share the books we haven't bought yet but are waiting to be bought and devoured. If you are anything like me then your wishlist is getting longer by the day! If you would like to take part and have your own 'On My Wishlist' post then you can more info here. (This post was inspired by the fab In My Mailbox by  Kristi at The Story Siren)

My on My Wishlist includes books that are older and already out, or brand new. Today I am bringing you Three books that I am dying to read and get for my book shelves.

So lets see what we have here this week.. I well update when I get these books

The 40 Day Devotional Challenge by Kathi Macias
Need some encouragement? Who doesn’t, right? So why not get that encouragement while at the same time deepening your faith? The 40-Day Devotional Challenge by bestselling author Kathi Macias is designed to do just that. With forty undated “bite-sized” readings, each including a Scripture verse and a personal application section, The 40-Day Devotional Challenge…to Encourage Your Heart and Deepen Your Faith is designed in a way that can fit into anyone’s busy schedule—and we all have them. But isn’t it true that the faster we run, the farther behind we seem to get? We all know we need to slow down and re-prioritize, but we just can’t seem to get off that treadmill long enough to do it—until now. Regardless of how long our to-do list, we all have ten minutes we can set aside daily—or even weekly—to reconnect with the things that really matter. Practical, pithy devotions that challenge us spiritually are just the answer. So why not accept The 40-Day Devotional Challenge—either individually or in a group—and let God encourage your heart and deepen your faith? You’ll be so glad you did.

The Rose Of Lancaster County by Murray Pura

Rose Lantz is overjoyed with her life. Her Amish family has a lovely farm in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, she has a good friend in Lydia Beiler who loves to quilt with her, her faith in God is strong and her Amish community warm and supportive, and she is engaged to be married to a handsome young man. But she came to the American Colonies when she was 10 and can still remember the persecution the Amish people fled in Germany. So when Lydia is accused of witchcraft by those outside the Amish community she is quick to help her friend's lawyer and speak up on behalf of Lydia during the trial. But her passionate defence of Lydia draws attention to her and soon it is Rose who is facing charges of being a witch. The charges sound so convincing that friends and family turn away from her. Even her fiancé breaks off his engagement. Soon Rose is on her own to face her accusers with no one to help but God. And one brave young man she had never paid any attention to before.

Murray Pura was born and raised in the Mennonite country of southern Manitoba. He began writing at an early age and his first story was published in a US Christian magazine when he was 16. Since that time Murray has published more than a dozen books and has been the recipient of a number of writing awards. His works include the Amish American novels A Bride's Flight From Virginia City, Montana; The Wings of Morning; and The Face of Heaven. A pastor for 25 years, Murray currently lives and writes in southern Alberta.

UNLOCKING The BIBLE Devotional by Colin S. Smith

Pastor Colin Smith, who hosts the popular national radio program "Unlocking the Bible," is the perfect guide for highlighting the significance of the Bible's story for our everyday lives. This page-a-day devotional is the perfect gift for anyone on the go.
