Years ago, Rebecca Beachy kept her reasons for rejecting Gideon Troyer's marriage proposal a secret. Then Gideon left their Amish community. Now, Rebecca crafts quilts to raise money to cure her blindness. She's also busy guarding her heart against love. Until Gideon returns, at risk of being shunned, to make the winning bid on one of her exquisite quilts. Will the quilt—a patchwork promise of rediscovered love—bring Gideon and Rebecca back together again?

My Review:
Secrets, quilting, proposals, Amish, okay this is just a few of the things that caught my attention and held it all the way through this book.

The characters here are so intertwined in the mystery of the amazing story line that you are captivated threw out the book. From the beginning to the end Rebecca Beachy is a lady that you just want to shake.. But also the other characters interact so that you are in love with them all and want to see what happens next, as well as wanting more at the end.

Author Patricia David is an amazing writer and I will be reading more of her books. Looking forward to see what comes next.

So due to the above, I am giving this book a Breath of Life ratings of:

Five Clock Rating!!!

Disclosure: I did not receive  this book for my honest opinion and review. But it is my own opinions, and yours may differ.

About the Author:

Patricia grew up on a Kansas farm with four brothers, three horses and numerous dogs. After college she began a wonderful career as a nurse. In 1973, Pat wrote a letter to a lonely sailor. Little did she know her talent with words would bring her love, marriage and motherhood.
An avid reader, Pat longed to write a book, but put her dream on hold as she raised a family and worked in an NICU. It wasn't until 1996 that she began writing seriously. Today, Pat enjoys crafting emotionally satisfying romances where love and faith bring two people together forever.
