Synopsis:
Do you find yourself unsatisfied with "church as usual," but don't know why? Do you wonder if the Christian life you're living, which is like all the other Christians around you, is all there is? Do you wonder why all the exciting stuff in the Bible seems so far from your own life? Jesus came to set us free, but most of us don't know what that really means. Find out in BUT GOD: Two Words to Freedom! Each chapter expands on the definition of Godly freedom in this life, and is followed by study questions to help you fulfill the purpose God has for you in His Kingdom on earth. Find out how living outside the Christian box; following Biblical principals regarding debt, forgiveness and relationships; and acknowledging the battle we face if we are advancing God's Kingdom can set you free to be all that God created you to be.

My Review:
Okay to start this review I am going to state that this book and author are AMAZING! This is the third book that I have read of author Jennings Wright and I am constantly wanting more. Her style of writing is one that makes you search yourself as well as wanting to read into the subject matter more.

While getting into this book was not even an issue. It is an easy flowing book. What I mean is that I was able to start reading and not get stuck on a chapter or even a belief so to speak.

Author Jennings Wright is a very personal type of writer, at least that is how I read her. She always makes me think about things and how I personally see my self and how I could do better. I so Love that about her books.

And this book was no exception! I have been in church my whole life. My father is a minister and I grew up going to different churches to hear him preach. He also pastor-ed four churches out this time. So now that I am, well let's just say older and have kids and grandkids of my own, as well as my husband and I both are ministers, I also have my own style and because of the way I was raised, I still believe the old fashion way. So with that being said: just the first chapter of author Jennings Wright makes me stop and THINK!

A MUST READ for all my readers! Pick it up and let me know what you think, or if you have read it let me know as well.

So due to the above, I am giving this book a Breath of Life ratings of:

Five Clock Rating!!!
Disclosure: I did receive this book for my honest opinion and review. But these opinions are my own and yours may differ.

About the Author

Born and raised in Rockledge, Florida, Jennings spent her early years reading anything she could get her hands on, when she wasn't spending time in and on the water. She won a prize in the 6th grade for her science fiction stories.

Jennings attended the University of the South and the University of Tampa, graduating with a B.A. in Political Science, and almost enough credits for B.A.s in both English and History. She spent time over the years doing various kinds of script doctoring, business writing, editing, and teaching writing, but mostly having and raising her family, homeschooling her children, owning and running a business with her husband, and starting a non-profit to Uganda.

Thanks to a crazy idea called NaNoWriMo Jennings got back into creative writing in 2011 and hasn't stopped since. She's written four novels and a screenplay in less than a year, with more ideas on the drawing board. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband, also a writer, and two children, and travels extensively.
