Title: HUGO THE SECRET TO HAPPINESS
Author: Suzy Liebermann
Category: Children's
Pub. Date: 10/11/2011
Publisher: Happy Language Kids Pub.
Format: Kindle
Pages: 32
ISBN#: B00798NCFG

Synopsis:
Happiness Begins With Sharing
Hugo is a little starfish. He finds his life dull. Tired of feeling sad, one day he sets off to find happiness. After much searching, he discovers something that makes his heart do a somersault! Sharing with others is the only thing that makes him truly happy.
Adults strive to teach children to share with their communities. Encouraging children to give teaches them empathy, as well as a sense of social responsibility. Children can feel empowered by giving and sharing with others.
Meet HUGO, a little starfish with a big heart and a curious mind.
In very story of the series he learns about a different character trade/ attitude.
The first book of HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH is an
Award-Winning Finalist in the CHILRDEN’S MIND/ BODY/ SPIRIT category of the USA “Best Books 2011” Awards.
The key theme behind the HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH series is that building character based on a positive attitude leads to a happy, self-confident and successful human being. I have written this exciting series of children’s books to help educate children about their feelings, their attitude, their choices, and the consequences that follow.
Through his adventures, Hugo learns many valuable lessons of character, life skills, and ecological alertness – all amid the backdrop of a magical underwater world and mystical islands.
In Hugo, children, parents, and educators will discover a lovable and engaging role model with whom they can identify. Each book offers a themed vocabulary to introduce the Spanish language to the reader. Each book also comes with a number of worksheets which are downloadable at no cost on our website.
We are sure you’ll agree that life skills and character traits are two of the most important lessons to teach the young. Age-appropriate children’s books are crucial to child development and well-written books that contain a message can expand not only a child’s cognitive abilities, but also their emotional, moral, and spiritual capacities. We believe this distinctive way of sharing a “message” through the medium of an exciting narrative is what has given the books their charm.
The stories were developed in conjunction with my teaching experience at an International Baccalaureate® School and they support the different learner profiles and attitudes of the IB PYP curriculum.
This book is a great way to teach EMPATHY and the CALENDAR.

Synopsis:
In several book volumes (The Adventures Of Two Little Ducklings), the main characters are of course two little ducklings. They go through various adventures, which will teach your children important and valuable lessons in life and make it easier for them to keep a positive attitude towards tomorrow. There is also a bonus story with the cutest characters and enchanting storyline.
In the first book "There Is No Place Like Home" when the two ducklings decide to go exploring in search of a little fish that has caught the older one's eye, they aren't afraid of getting lost. However, when they hear about the crocodile that lives nearby, they start to think about heading home.
In the second book ''Patience Is A Virtue'', the little ducklings decide to play a game with their new neighbor. But trouble awaits them, and what starts out as a harmless game quickly turns into a dangerous situation as they face up with a grumpy cat. How are the ducklings going to get out of this one?
Third book '' He Who Dares, Wins'' shares with us the ducklings' first day at school! But their new friends haven't told them everything. Don't miss this exciting episode, and find out what awaits them on their new adventure.
In the fourth book '' Be Thankful For What You Have'' it's almost time to go back to school after the holidays and the ducklings are unhappy that their friends always have such amazing stories to tell. They decide to have some adventures of their own, so that they have something to brag about. But when they head off into the woods, they might be dealing with more than they can handle.
