My Review:
First let me say the cover beautiful. My first impression of this book was, this is going to be another military book. In other words at that moment I was not sure I wanted to read about another man going off to war while wife either cheats or just gives up on the marriage all together. Or even the man getting captured and it took a life long time for him to come back right.
Don't get me wrong, I totally support our Military and I know how hard it is to wait to hear from a loved one when they are not able to get in touch with you. But this book was not your typical book.
The characters were strong and just keep getting stronger. Yes they showed that every day things, not just the service that Trent has lived for, are worth working for a true marriage to work it takes two.
The story line was a little slow but soon had me rooting for Laura one minute then Trent. Not to mention other ones along the way. Faith played a big part in the book from both parties.
This is the second book in a series (Coming Home). I had not read the first when this one was offered for review. All I will say is that Author Jessica Scott has me hooked. If she can write a book or books in a series but it still can be read alone or out of order. Well I feel that is an amazing thing.
So for reasons above, and with only one small thing (being a little slow in areas) I am giving this book and Author the Breath of Life Rating of:
Four Clock Rating:

I did receive the above book in exchange for my honest opinion and
