Synopsis:
Bridges of Paris is a large-format photography book with over 350 original color images which casts new illumination on the City of Light. The 37 bridges over the Seine River emerge as beautiful, historic destinations rather than unnoticed thoroughfares. The book features stunning portraits of each bridge as well as intimate riverside moments. Once you've experienced this river tour, you will never see Paris the same way again. Living as a Parisian for a year, author Michael Saint James left his American lifestyle and spent his days and nights capturing images from over, on, beside and under the bridges of Paris. With over 30 years experience as a photographer, educator and world traveler, Michael immersed himself in French culture to search out his authentic artist self. The result is a visual treasure to share with everyone.

My Review:
My first reaction when opening this book was "WOW!" Seriously, the front cover it self is so pretty that I would pick up this book just for it. As you might be able to tell the book is a long side was book.

When I was given the opportunity to review this I was not expecting much to be honest. I have looked at several coffee table type books and for me I was not impressed enough to buy any with the exception of possible two or three. For one I do not have a great place to display them as well as the fact I always have little ones around and for the price of many I just would not buy one.

Now with that being said, not only does the Author Michael Saint James placed with in the pages many many photographs of the awesome bridges of Paris but it is full of info on the history of said bridges and the ones who built them as well as the places where they are.  I wanted to share just a few of said photo's. First let me say these pictures are just a very few examples.

Showing the different times in the day also the different techniques in the building these awesome bridges.

I loved the one here on the right due to what looks like a wavy set of bridges.

These last two on just what some of the info pages. Doesn't it make you really want to go to Paris?

As I said these are only a few wonderful pictures within the pages of what now has become a permanent book in my home. I will be sharing with my family and friends for years to come. I may never go to Paris except in my dreams but I will always be able to pick up this, what I will call that is, an EPIC book on the Bridges of Paris book and it AWESOME author Michael Saint James.

So for the reasons above I will be giving this book my Breath Of Life Rating of:

 Five Clock Rating!!

Disclosure: I did receive the above book in exchange for my honest opinion and or review. But the Opinions are my own and yours may differ.
